Authority model

The written statement of what an agent may propose versus commit inside an organisation’s systems, including the thresholds and escalation path for anything above the boundary. It is the deliverable an integration should produce before the first agent goes live, not the thing discovered after an incident.

Common causes

Treating a mesh or agent platform as an API to call rather than a coordination partner acting on incomplete information about the organisation’s own systems.

What good looks like

A short, named list of what an agent may read and write; a stated proposer-versus-committer split; and an escalation threshold with a named owner.
