Custody design
The set of decisions about who may sign, under what approval, and what happens when a signer leaves. A design, not a product choice — the same hardware supports both a defensible arrangement and an indefensible one.
Common causes
Treating custody as a procurement item resolves the hardware question and leaves the governance question open.
What good looks like
An approval policy with an independent approval set, a rota with a margin above the threshold, and a recovery that has been rehearsed within the last six months.
This is the build-lens entry, deliberately narrower than the market framing of the same subject: see Custody — GDA Group glossary.
Term set: the build vocabulary. Capital-markets terms are defined on gda.group; agent-economy terms on flashygroup.com. One term, one home.
